11.2 oz serving. Not a bad lager really ,to look at light golden , attractive carbonation rising to a quite nice looking thick white head. Aroma is mainlly malty..no chemicals detected. A mainlly malt driven lager and really its quite pleasant actually, slightly grassy, touch of citric to finish. Not that bad on the palate ok beer. All in all much better than I was expecting..this reminds me of Beck’s a lot, not all that bad.

330ml Bottle: It’s like a tall, cold glass of nothing. Pours light yellow, no head on mine, with an aroma of grass and hints of malt. Flavour is bitter with .. grass, and hints of malt. It’s really not much, and yet another example of my rule that any label that says "premium".. isn’t. Take a pass.

Transparent yellow urine-like color. No head except a thin rim. Aroma of hops and malts. Smooth character with a hint of hops. Not terrible, but not a quality beer either.

Very sweet malt flavor, with elements of straw, corn syrup and a cheap hop finish that leave in film on the palate. Not horrible.

Skunked, cabbage- like aroma. Clear, pale gold appearance, average head recedes quickly and leaves no lacing. Sweet malt, cereal taste that lingers too long. ABV is higher than I would have guessed. Should have waited to have Thai food with it as many have suggested.

Bottle. use to drink this a lot in a Thai restaurant. As far as I can remember it wasn’t a bad lager but certainly not something outstanding. Better though than the other beer of the restaurant (Tsing Tao)

I had this with some very good (and very spicy) Thai food on a hot summer day, so I was unable to rate it as thoroughly as if I had just been taste testing. However, it had a good appearance, yellow, with pillowy white head, and decent lacing. The aroma was very difficult to dtermine, and the taste was basically what I needed at the time...cold and wet. Not a bad beer all and all.

(21.3 oz bottle: $1.99 at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, CA) Pours a very tall and fluffy, white head, at least 2 inches in height, so it’ll be awhile before I can take a sip. The beer is medium-straw in color and has near-perfect clarity. A few unfocused streams of carbonation bubbles make their way slowly to the beer’s surface, but nothing too crazy. The aromatic nose is spicy and grassy, so much so that whatever malt aromas there might be, I can’t really notice them. No defects like skunk or cardboard in the nose either. Similarly, the flavor is grassy, spicy and mildly bitter, with the malt base not having much impact except in contributing a noticeable sweetness. Body is light, but very clean and refreshing in spite of the sweet finish. The head fades to a thin, filmy layer and leaves no lacing on the glass. Quite a tasty beer for a straw-colored lager, one that I think would be great to quell the spiciness of Asian food.
