| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 20, 2006 Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a reasonable white head. Aroma is fairly weak, mainly of a bit of nondescript sweet malt. Flavor is similar. Basically tastes like most other Asian lagers; on par with the Japanese macrobrews, but maybe slightly better than most. rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Bottle 66cl. Poured a dark amber, with a decent white head that actually lasts until the end (unlike most Asian beers). The aroma is fairly rich, malty and hoppy, with a definite hint of caramel. The flavour is similar, not watery though not particularly flavoursome - golden hops with a touch of malt. The aftertaste is similar, with a metallic tang I presume from the alcohol.
Good, probably the best Thai beer I’ve had. Bigsilky (322), Charleston, USA

Purs nicely into my official Singha glass, who knows where that came from. I can’t comment on the quality of the "100% barley malt," but it has more heft than BMC and certainly more balance. Nice crisp hoppy finish reminds me of a Helles. Very refreshing, and the 6% is dangerous. I’m usually about frou deep before I realize it. rybowen (105), Los Angeles 90039, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 13, 2006 I’ve had gallons of this stuff, since anything else is hard to get in most of Thailand.
It’s brightly carbonated, smells good and has a decent flavor and aroma. Much better on draft, but a cold bottle of Bia Sing goes cools off those hot Thai afternoons in the rainy season. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2006 12oz bottle at Benjarong restaurant, Monroe WA. Pale golden. Standard lager aroma but surprisingly not one-dimensional flavour. Even manages a noticeable hop finish. First Oriental beer I’ve had that was actually worth a damn. It’s also worth noting that I did have some reasonably spicy Thai food to drink this with. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Flavour of fruits, malts, corn and hops.

Crisp flavor with some bitterness. Medium-bodied with a somewhat bitter finish. Though this isn’t a really awesome beer, I actually really like it.
