Purchased at Stanlee’s in Tumon, Guam. Pours very pale, clear yellow, with almost no head. Aroma is typical lager. A little cat piss, a few hops and malt. Flavor was kinda skunky, and even though I just pulled the bottle from a container of ice, it seemed warm. I can’t see drinking another one of these. ELPADRINO (70), The Woodlands, Texas, USA

Aroma smells a little skunky and like it’s been poured from a can that has sat in the sun too long. Taste is a little sweet and bolder than the appearance would lead one to believe. Sour/bitter on the back end. Not very good. Mirage52 (127), New Market, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2006 From the bottle at Mai Tai in Alexandria, VA. Poured a light straw colored gold, small head with a fair amount of carbonation. Tasted like about a million other pale lagers -- which to me is a good thing. I wasn’t noticing any overly bitter hops, like some of the reviewers did. This is what I could call a comfort beer -- when you’re in the mood to drink beer and not think about it -- but still look different from all your friends. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA

Flavor moves quickly from sweet malt to the bittering hops. For what it is, not bad. Accompanies Thai food very well. rsmeds (220), Turku, Finland

Clear gold, small white head.
Faintly corny aroma of malt and hop bitter.
Dryish, somewhat sharp flavor mainly of hop bitter, with a faint malt sweetness in the background. Very watery and thin, as expected. Bitter aftertaste, with a hint of corny sweetness.
Clean mouthfeel, carbonation a bit on the heavy side, but typical for this type of beer.
This is really not as bad as I’d expected, but a very typical bulk lager in any case, of course. As asian pale lagers go, it really could be a lot worse. A good enough beer for a meal. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland

Crisp crackers and sugary breads support a bright mix of flowers and grass. A bitter tingle refreshes alongside vigorous carbonation as a clean sweetness sates the palate. Enough heft considering the delicateness; glides along with a slick sensation.
Expertly constructed, clean and refreshing to no end, though there is definitely room for more personality.
33 cl bottle, best before 02 May 2009.
