Quite a smooth tripel, not overly estery, some rose petal, some hop. Very smooth. Not great character but smooth, easy drinking and still some sting on the finish.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2009 33 cl. bottle into Duvel glass. Cloudy amber orange with a craggy almond color head. Aroma of dusty hay, floral hop and fruity notes and a touch of yeast. Bready and biscuity malts, slightly sweet with a bubblegum fruitiness. Some fresh grass and a touch of green grape tartness as well. The spice character was a bit on the timid side, I thought. Needed an extra peppery nudge to really create an ideal balance. Otherwise enjoyable.
