| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Hazy dark copper color with a thin white head. Strong floral aroma with a little bit of sweet toasty malt as well. Flavorwise it is mostly a moderate floral bitterness dominated brew with a a light toastiness that gives it a little backing. Medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. A clean bitter bitter almost crisp finish. Probably more of an English IPA than anything. hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a deep and cloudy / muddy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, floral and earthy hops, and citrus. Tastes of citrus, floral hops, ice tea, and some caramel. Did not strike me as an IPA (maybe a British one). kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2007 12 oz bottle via Capital market. Pours a semi-clear amber with a large beige head. Nose is both floral and earthy. Flavors start with some caramel and honey, then some toffee, and finally some orange-peal and some earthy hops. Body is medium, carbonation is average. THis seems to be a west-coast take on an Enlish IPA...or perhaps i would call it an Amber Ale. Could be hoppier, but is very tasty, malty, and sessionable. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2007 12 oz bottle from Hi Time Cellars. Aroma is more malty than expected, so is the flavor. Hard to pull out enough hop character to call this an IPA. But otherwise an enjoyable very malty beer. kyzr (1127), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Amber pour with nice big off-white head. Grassy hoppy nose, yet somewhat of a malty nose. Not really a big hoppy opening, yet enough to balance the hops. Good warmth from the alcohol, and a good malt backbone to finish it off. cathcacr (591), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Not an intense IPA, but delicious. Aroma . . . is it Fuggles? Maybe it’s really Fuggles! Some buttermilk-biscuity-malty aroma dimensionality as well, though mild. Beautiful big head, big lacing, creamy delivery (a little watery on the end), Fuggles flavor profile. Fuggles = yum. Please tell me it’s Fuggles.
Currently playing: Radiohead, "Fake Plastic Trees." Great, that just threw the whole rating off.
