On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours dark brown with a soft tan head. Strong fresh coffee flavor, astringent and bitter, big roasty burnt flavor. If you like coffee this will due, I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I think would make a good breakfast beer.

On tap at Green Dragon--Poured a deep black-brown body with lots of coffee aromatics. Perhaps the most coffee flavored brew I have ever experienced. Bitter in the finish and pretty sharply carbonated. Some chocolate in the finish, too. Not bad, but a bit of a gut bomb.

Espresso and cocoa nose with mild peppery spice. Herbal and coffe palate with mild acidity. Somewhat astringent finish.

Draft at the brew pub. Pours pitch black with a frothy ivory head. HUGE coffee and chocolate aromas. The coffee aroma is that of warm, wet coffee grounds. Thick mouth feel with more chocolate and coffee notes. Moderately hopped. Bitter mocha finish.
