Oct 21, 2007 GABF ’07. Pours hazy ruby with a small, fizzy, off-white head, diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, meal), average hops (citrus), average yeast (dough) with notes of raspberry. Light bodied, oily texture, flat carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

Dec 15, 2006 Bottle. Ruby red with a pink head. Soapy aroma with a slight spiciness. Very dry and over sour. Too carbonated.

Dec 15, 2006 If only the taste of the beer matched the way this looked, we might be on to something here. An soapy nose with with a sort of faux raspberry nose. Appearance was a pinkish-red, clear with a light pink fizzy head. It had a overly carbonated problem which reminded me of seltzer water. Flavors were raspberry extract combined with a horrific alka seltzer like taste. Ugh. No thanks.

Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is light red.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with notes of tomato leaves, raw wood, raspberry.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Uncomfortably vegetal nose and not very lambic-like (perhaps should just be listed as fruit beer). Ample tartness saves it somewhat.

Oct 26, 2006 GABF 2006: Hazy amber with a reddish tint. The aroma appeared to be more malty than fruity. The raspberry was on the light side. Light funk. The flavor was btter with nice sour raspberry and some funk. The finish was a little bland.
