Oct 21, 2007 GABF ’07. Pours hazy ruby with a small, fizzy, off-white head, diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, meal), average hops (citrus), average yeast (dough) with notes of raspberry. Light bodied, oily texture, flat carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is light red.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with notes of tomato leaves, raw wood, raspberry.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Uncomfortably vegetal nose and not very lambic-like (perhaps should just be listed as fruit beer). Ample tartness saves it somewhat.

Dec 9, 2007 Bottle shared at Columbus 10 courtesy of the very generous Apsidites. THANKS MIKE!!!! Not a fan of lambics, so this one did not wow me. Very watery and light tasting. Very slight sour raspberry taste and some funk of some sort.

Dec 15, 2006 If only the taste of the beer matched the way this looked, we might be on to something here. An soapy nose with with a sort of faux raspberry nose. Appearance was a pinkish-red, clear with a light pink fizzy head. It had a overly carbonated problem which reminded me of seltzer water. Flavors were raspberry extract combined with a horrific alka seltzer like taste. Ugh. No thanks.

Nov 28, 2007 SOAP and extract nose with a bit of vegetal and acid. Soapy and lactic on the palate. The finish is extremely soapy and extract laden.
