12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small orange glare with a small white head. Aroma is roasted caramelish and light breadish. Flavour has the same in a smooth dry mix. Light liqourice like touch. Roasted malty to breadish lingering finish. Nice one, not a traditional porter as such.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a red-brown shine under a brown head. The aroma has notes of roated malt, soy sauce, and some chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. Nice.

Bottle from Bottle Barn. Pours quite dark with ruby notes. Huge frothy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and roasted/toasted malt. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted dark malt and chocolate, but coffee follows those. Rather dry, and quite chocolatey in the end.

A superb porter with just enough coffee and chocolate overtones to satisfy. Creamy texture. Well-balanced. Minimal "vinegar" aftertaste.
