bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Oct 15, 2009 Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Tart and light sour aroma. Sour/tart flavor with peach and diacetyl. Medium body. Tart, light sourness lingers with dustiness and light fruit. Theis (3617), Denmark Nov 19, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008. Cloudy amber - white head. Aroma: kærnemælk. Taste: Vinegar, gooseberries, balsamic, acid, sourness, wood, brett, lovely smooth. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Nov 19, 2008 Attractive reddish pour with an odd, buttery balsamic vinegar nose. The flavor wasn’t as bad as the nose, but not great. The redeeming quality is definitely the finish, albeit a delayed one, but very nice oak that lasts.. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Nov 18, 2008 (Draught) Pours a murky reddish body with a small off-white head. Aroma of plastic, bubblegum, and butterscotch. Flavor vinegar, sour apple, and plastic with dry finish. wetherel (1565), Encinitas, California, USA Oct 24, 2008 Cloudy yellow color. Very funky buttery aroma. Disgusting and interesing at the same time. I saw a girl pour this out as soon as she smelled it. Taste is mildy sour. Pedio gone wild producing copius amounts of diacetyl. What can I say, I like sour. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 20, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008.
Hazy golden colorued with a medium sized white head.
Aroma of lactic acid with notes of fruits and vanilla.
Fruity and light acidic flavour of vanilla with some sweetness.
Tart finish. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 13, 2008 On tap GABF 2008 poured a hazy tarnished gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of sour butterscotch, carmel, light leather and a hint of vomit, actually it kinda smelt like an old septic tank. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a tart finish. Flavors of sour butterscotch, barnyard and light leather with a crisp dry lingering tart finish.Thank God it tastes a little better than it smells! beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Oct 13, 2008 GABF’08. Oh horrid is the only way to describe this. Aroma is all buttery, burnt, toast, straight up. Its got some vomit characteristics. Ugh. Sourness in the flavor making up somewhat for the nasty stuff. But I had to try not to breathe in until I got a sip into my mouth.
