Bottle shared by pkeigs, thanks dude. Poured a deep brown color with a thick beige head that left nice lacing. Aroma of light chocolate, some caramel, light roast and a hint of smoke, as well as a bit of dark fruit. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with some light chocolate, a hint of roast, some smoke, and a bit of dark fruits (fig, raisin) with some light hops on the finish. Low carbonation, a tad thin on the palate. Overall, pretty enjoyable.

Bottle shared by iowaherkeye. Thanks! Batch 74, bottle 79. Poured an opaque black color with a light brown head. Smelled of sprucy hops, chocolate, and molasses. There was also a whiff of paper-ish oxidization. Medium to full bodied and slightly sweet with mild to moderate bitterness. I tasted toffee and chocolate mostly. Not bad.

thanks iowaherkeye! Black pour with a tan head. Toffee ad brown sugar aroma. Flavor is heavy brown sugar, toffee, chocolate, roasted nuts, and just a touch of coffee. Cardboardy in the finish, slightly bitter yet sweet as well.

22oz bottle, many thanks to Hophead84 for this, highlight of the night for me. Pours black with a thinnish light brown head, some lace. Smells dark and fruity roasty. Tastes chocolatey and coffee roasty and toasty with some sweet dark fruit as well. You can tell this beer has a little age on it with the dark fruity flavors. Well done. Medium body, good smooth carbonation.
