sleepylopes (281), New York, USA Aug 21, 2008 a great choice, i am constantly impressed by sixpoint. a nice offering and oh so smooth. decent and in proportion, a little sweet and a little bitter. roasted and malt give the beer the flavor and body and the amount of hops is a nice departure for a stout. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 13, 2008 Date: 07/03/2008

Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 3, 2008 At Redbones, on tap. Opaque black with 1/2 inch light tan head and rings of lacing. Rich coffee and cocoa nose. Slightly tinny but inviting. Smoth, creamy, like an oatmeal stout in mouthfeel, which is excellent on this beer. Lovely body. No spikes. Totally smooth. Robust malt but never tastes burnt. Great stout! ChainGangGuy (1524), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jul 5, 2008 Appearance: Pours a dark brown body with a medium-sized, light beige head.
Smell: Roasted grain aroma with notes of licorice and chocolate sauce.
Taste: Chocolatey flavor with a taste of burnt grain and a reasonable amount of malty sweetness. More of the licorice. Medium hop bitterness. Roasty, lingering finish with a last taste of unsweetened chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
