Sep 19, 2008 Appearance: Pours a dark brown, near black body resting under a half inch of beige foam.
Smell: Roasty nose smelling of cold coffee and black malts. Notes of unsweetened chocolate and caramel.
Taste: A fusion of coffee and chocolate on the first sip. A touch grainy, a touch coffee grindy. Mild sweetness. An earthy, roasty bitterness is close behind and remains until the finish. A second dose of chocolate arises at the very end.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Fairly creamy.
Drinkability: A rather tasty coffee-dosed porter. My hat is STILL off to Sixpoint!

Sep 13, 2008 Pours a brownish/black – with a small tan/caramel head. Strong smells of strong dark roasted coffee. First sip is pure coffee – strong and bitter. Slight hint of bittersweet chocolate. Finishes bitter and very well carbonated. A coffee lovers beer.

Sep 6, 2008 Growler. Pours black with a very small rapidly disappearing tan head. Aroma of smoke, roasted malt, smoked meats, chocolate, coffee. Flavor of lots of coffee, sweet roasted malt, roasted nuts. This is quite tasty! Smooth silky palate. Not too sweet. This is good stuff!! Get your hands on it if you can!
