| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2008 On tap, was a transparent medium dark copper. Aroma of pine and citrus. Head was pretty decent. Palate very wet and fairly thin, but not detracting. Flavor was sweet up front but transitioned to a nice deep bitterness, a little dirty. sweetness is less noticeable as you continue drinking and didn’t go well at all with my lombardi’s pizza. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it before pizza came, would definitely get again. BiddleBrau (332), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2008 On tap @ Hop Devil in NYC. This is a cream ale? It’s far too good for that label. Pours clear copper with a good sized light tan head. The aroma has lots of hops that have floral traits and are smooth and soft along with lightly sweet malt. Medium crisp body with moderate carbonation. The taste starts off very hoppy with spiciness and pine. It starts off crisp and then gets resiny. Some cream ale malt is detectable in the background, but this is definitely a hop-fronted beer. The finish is resiny and hoppy ~ no surprise there. A very good cream ale. pforei (338), USA
