Druaght. Slightly hazy amber color with a frothy off-white head. Left ruler- straight stripes of lacing. Light malty aroma with floral and citrus hops, with an additional fruity note, like apple, peach and/or melon. Fruity and slightly sweet biscuity malt flavor with a fair dose of citrusy hops. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. Even discounting my pro-Sixpoint bias, a very fresh and satisfying brew.

Hazy amber color. Simple Pale Ale, with some malt/caramel, but poor hopping and this one as well with the dirty water / tap water flavor.

Tap. Pours an orangish-honey color with a thin, soapy white head. Subtle aroma, probably a bit too cold: hops, sweet malts, citrus, resiny, like a baby IPA. Slightly floral. Nice flavor, easy to drink. Slightly acidic (lemon/lime) with a nice sweet body and a lightly bitter, hopped finish. Not huge on flavor but hugely easy to drink. Went great with the pizza at Lombardi’s in SoHo.

Pours an orangey golden white head which becomes lacing. The aroma is very nice of lemony sherbert. There’s definitly flowery flavors, and a slightly bisquity background. A very smooth lemon sherbert-like sweetness is present throughout with a citrusey slightly bitter finish. A very balanced and drinkable cream ale.

Pale amber beer, creamy thick white head that is very persistent. Very fresh toasted malt backbone. A bit of peachy fruit over the top of the sweet malts. Flavour is substantially hoppier than I would have guessed from the nose. Tropical and fruity with light grapefruit and citrus that nicely match the sweet peachy esters. Lovely pale ale.

on tap at the "i" bar, manhattan. didn’t know what style this was, and it stumped me! color was a pale amber with a thick off-white/light tan dimply head. aroma is sweet like honey water and hops. flavor was honeysuckle malt and flowery mild hops. pretty interesting take on the style.

Cream ale... interesting. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when ordering this beer -- no one seemed to have any idea what style it was -- and when drinking it I was having a lot of trouble pinning down the style. I noticed some lager characteristics but noticed it was still very fruity and pretty rich, and certainly couldn’t come up with a lager style to match, so I ended up hesitantly labelling it an EPA, even though I did notice a slight amount of grapefruit (American) hop aroma. The aroma was very perfumy with carribean fruit punch. Pretty rich malts in the taste, some munich style vegetably flavor, and earth finishing hops. Now that I think about it, Cream Ale is the perfect designation for a beer like this. I just wish I could’ve identified it.

Hand bottle: Courtesy of Eyedrinkale via trade. Light aroma of yeast, banana, and grass. Pours a cloudy orangish-yellow with a large off-white head with very good retention. Great lacing. Lightly yeasty up front with some hints of caramel. Finishes with moderate floral hops and a peppery spiciness.
