Bottled: Brownish coloured. Unclear. Beige lasting head. Malty and fruity aroma. Flavour is fruity, malty and has a light touch of rye. Is light alcaholic in the end.

Jul 27, 2007 Bottle. Clear brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, light malty, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

May 22, 2007 Bottled. Ruby red colour, mediumsized beigeish-pinkish head. Strawberry, roasted malts and some caramel in the aroma. Flavour is roasted malts, dry fruits and some caramel. Quite nice.

May 6, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, reddish brown with a dense and lasting beige head leaving laces as it dissipates. Sweetish, lightly vinous aroma of dried fruits. Medium body with lightly sweet accents of roasted malt and dried fruit - and a vague, metallic edge. Very subdued bitterness. OK, but far from a great Dubbel. 060507

Almost opaque dark ruby color, cloudy tan-beige head, lace. Coffee beans, roasted malts, rye and berries in the nose. Sweetish caramelly flavor, same time dry coffee notes and brown sugar. A bit sticky mouthfeel. Some chocolate in the aftertaste. Sweetish, "dessert donker".
