The appearance is thin and watery with some light brown/amber colors. The flavors arent too bad though. Some maple syrup and nutty flavors, along with some toffee and chocolate undertones. Lots of carmel, decent malts. Mouthfeel isn’t bad but it’s way overcarbonated and thin. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

It smells like I took Rover for a walk to do his business and I bent over to smell the results. Worst aroma ever! A reddish brown appearance with a light head. The flavor contains some caramel and a hint of dark chocolate. Watery thin palate. Despite the cool gangster graffiti looking label, this beer is worthless. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Nice chestnut body and fizzy tan head, but the aroma promises more than is delivered in the taste. Chocolate, sweet malt, smoked almonds... but a fairly bland flavor of dull malts, light brown sugar, and a faint nutty bitterness in the finish.

Mid brown amber coloured and slightly rich on the palate with a fruit aroma. Some dryness in a nutty flavoured finish. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

Clear, dark brown pour, slightly bubbly with an average white head. Chocolate and coffee with notes of orange and spice, not sure where the nuts were but it lacked a lot of complexity. Not bad. Like the woman in the old commercial asking ’where is the beef" I kept asking ’where are the nuts". This beer is devoid of any nutty flavor, or any distinct flavor in particular. Very thin and watery, no aromas and all in all very disappointing.
