Commercial Description:
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

I’m not a huge fan of nut browns, but I liked this beer. The pour made me wonder whether I had opened a flat bottle. There was almost no carbonation bubbles but eventually a thin head formed. It even laced the glass along the way. It had little aroma, but what little there was was of malt. The taste impressed me. I enjoyed the roasted toastiness of the malt, balanced with enough subtle bitterness to forget the sweetness. I’ll have another, please!

Pretty good beer and clever name. Nice bottle but the beer tastes like water. I don’t think it is too stout but if you drink enough then you will be buzzin’.

Pours coca-cola brown with almost no head. Nose is best part - initially almost meaty, olive and coffee notes. The flavor is almost like shiner bock with a little extra smokiness thrown in - slightly smoky/roasted malt and coffee, biting unpleasant end - dreck.

Nice aroma of nuts and roasty malts. But boy went downhill from there. Body dark color no head to speak of. Had a watery half sweet maly flavor to it. Roasty aftertaste but nothing special.

if there was a beer that you wouldnt drink, but only smell, this would be that beer. smells great - nutty, coffee, chocolate, rich, and malty. taste is weak, retains very few characteristics of the nose, and is not really malty like a brown ale should be. a disappointing beer that has tremendous potential if the taste was beer.

Pour is dark ruby brown with a tan head...smell is richly malty with some nuts and definately caramel...taste is metallic and sharp...disappointing to say the least...

Pours deep brown with medium off-white head. Caramel malt aroma withy hints of toffee, almonds, and cinnamon in the aroma and taste. Some hops in the finish. Light to medium palate.

Dark brown color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts slightly sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are slightly bitter. A little thin tasting and the flavors kind of dissipate quickly. There is also a touch of cardboard here as well. Not a great effort. Drinkable, but nothing very notable of interesting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
