Commercial Description:
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

Dark brown color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts slightly sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are slightly bitter. A little thin tasting and the flavors kind of dissipate quickly. There is also a touch of cardboard here as well. Not a great effort. Drinkable, but nothing very notable of interesting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a very dark chocolate brown. Nice bountiful malty aroma. Flavor is fairly malty, not too full bodied.Pales on the mouthfeel. Definitely needs more. Light on the aftertaste. a little too thin.

Beer pours dark amber color with a well retained off white head. Aroma is sweet malt with a little caramel and light roasted peanuts. Flavor is also sweet malt, but is too thin and the finish just basically dies. The flavor starts out then just vanishes. This beer has potential but needs more bigger flavors.

The beer emigrates from the 12-ounce brown bottle a somewhat hazy brown with a portly light tan head that is semi-creamy in texture as it fades away; the lace forms a concealing blanket upon the glass. Nose is malt with light caramel tones, fresh and somewhat tobacco like, start is lightly sweet and the malt profile light to moderate with the top light in its feel. Finish is mildly acidic, the hops benign in their spiciness, somewhat sour aftertaste is also dry, a drinkable beer, but not a real hit with me.

12 oz bottle. Notches on the side of label says it was bottled Jan 02. hmmm. New to AZ, would they be shipping old stock here?.
Pours reddish brown, with a fizzy, short lived tannish head. no lacing.
Funky sour dirty sock aroma, I almost poured down the drain because of it.
flavor was better than the aroma, roasty, nutty, caramel.
Body was kind of thin
tiny bit of hops noted in the short finish. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

bottle-pours a crimson amber hue with a small white head. aroma of carmel, toffee, and honey roasted cashews. The flavors were terrible-wet carboard and sourness. tastes like the malts and hops were old when this beer was brewed. body was thin and flimsy like most ska beers. probably the worst beer i have had from this brewery. Squidget must have got a good bottle of this (fresh?)

Bottled on Date of January 2, but I am pretty sure this is a mistake as this beer does not taste like a three year old beer, in fact it is far to light to have lasted this well.

This beer pours a clear ruby amber color with a light brown head. The aroma is malty with roasted notes, biscuits, caramel and even perhaps a hint of cherry fruitiness. The body of this beer is light, actually a bit lighter than I was expecting. The taste is a mix of malty sweetness, lightly roasted barley notes, and a cherry like fruitiness. There is certainly nothing wrong with this beer, and it does have a nice mix of fresh flavors, but it is a bit thin and it is missing a little something.
