Commercial Description:
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with FlactoAlto (thanks!). Poured a deep and cloudy brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of nuts and toasted malts. Tastes of burnt nuts, toasted and lightly roasted malts, and a hint of caramel. Overall very nutty. Thinner body.

on tap-pours a foamy to rocky tan head, brown/copper in color. Aroma is sweet caramel-medium malt, roasty, nutty. Taste is caramel-malt, nutty, faint hops. Initially somewhat thin on the finish. Medium body.

Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a thin ring of spotty-lacing light tan head. Doughy sweet dark caramel nose has a touch of hazelnuts. Body starts semi-sweet and toasty nutty with a hint of light tartness and finishes watery with a hint of toasty grain. Body is a little dissappointing given the aroma, but still a pretty drinkable brown ale.

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Clear, deep copper ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Chocolatey, malty nose and flavor with hints of diacetyl. The aroma is a touch floral as well. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Sweet, chocolatey finish.

Bottle courtesy of aplusbreaks. Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells nutty and earthy. Tastes of yogurt and tarte. Meh.
