Commercial Description:
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

Clear dark brown body with a thin off-white head. Light aroma consisting of caramel, nuts, and chocolate. Pretty thin palate with some decent carbonation. Smooth and sweet overall. Caramel, nuts, and a hint of chocolate. Just a touch of hops at the end. Not bad.

Bottle. Clear dark brown, small tan head. Sweet caramel aroma, notes of chocolate. Overall pretty bland, though has some nuttiness.

I have to say I really liked this one. Brown with no head. Caramel and malty aroma and flavor. Nothing to complain about here.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Deep amber-brown with a creamy, light tan head. Aroma: Caramel, roasted malt Taste: Nuts, caramel, lightly roasted malt, and a good, bitter backbone. Perhaps a little dough too. Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. Medium-short finish. Overall: A pretty solid if simple brown ale.

Very boring dark brown pour from the 12 oz bottle. No head and earth, metalic flavor. The bottle art is more exciting than the brew.

This simple brown ale was one of five different beers I tried while visiting Chicago on July 4 09. It was pretty basic. A bit of a let down.

Pours a nice brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is nuts, caramel, malts and chocolate. Flavor is nuts, a little earthy, metallic, malts, caramel. Lots of fizzy carbonation with a earthy carbonated nutty finish. Middle of the road brown.

Bottle. Pours a darker brown with decent head. Aroma of raoated malts & light chocolate. Aroma is actually pretty good. Beer is way to spritzy for a brown. Bottle is a tad old though. Taste has some elements of a decent brown but the carbonation ruins it. way too carbonated
