Light aroma consisting of caramel, nuts, and chocolate. Pretty thin palate with some decent carbonation. Smooth and sweet overall. Caramel, nuts, and a hint of chocolate. Just a touch of hops at the end. Not bad.

Aroma: Caramel, roasted malt
Taste: Nuts, caramel, lightly roasted malt, and a good, bitter backbone. Perhaps a little dough too.

Overall: A pretty solid if simple brown ale. Crafty07 (392), Florence, Kentucky, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Very boring dark brown pour from the 12 oz bottle. No head and earth, metalic flavor. The bottle art is more exciting than the brew. jkaiser (220), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Pours a nice brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is nuts, caramel, malts and chocolate. Flavor is nuts, a little earthy, metallic, malts, caramel. Lots of fizzy carbonation with a earthy carbonated nutty finish. Middle of the road brown. swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours a darker brown with decent head. Aroma of raoated malts & light chocolate. Aroma is actually pretty good. Beer is way to spritzy for a brown. Bottle is a tad old though. Taste has some elements of a decent brown but the carbonation ruins it. way too carbonated
