Crash (431), Macomb, Illinois, USA May 15, 2006 Poured dark brown with a little lacing. Aroma was malty towards bread. Initial flavor was acidic with a stale coffee finish.
cbkschubert (1566), Skyline, Arizona, USA Jul 31, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear brown color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head that faded pretty quick. Faint spotty lacing. Aroma and flavor is a toasted caramel malt. Light to medium body. Not the best beer, but wortha try. ucusty (1016), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 15, 2008 Brown pour big beige to off-white head. Slightly nutty aroma. Malty flavor combined with nuts... deeez nuts... wcampbell (416), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 One of the worst beers I have rated on this site. Absolutely terrible. It tasted like a messed up home brew. Had a strange acidic taste to it. Otherwise weak nutty flavor that was not pleasant. Huge head and lots of carbonation. Nasty finish. Stupid looking bottle made me dislike it even more. The_Beer_God (2830), Newport News, Virginia, USA Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Copper brown pour. Short tan head. Sticky, spotty lacing. Aroma is very nutty, malty and sweet. Chocolate covered peanuts. Maybe even a real nutty brownie. Soft spicy and earthy hops as well. Rather nice aroma! Taste is a bit hoppier than the aroma lets on. Spicy hops, caramel, raw nutty flavors, some earthy notes, and sweet malts. A bit of a let down based on the stellar aroma. Body is medium with strong carbonation. Gets dry in spots. Ends with more spicy and earthy hops, raw nuttiness, caramel and chewy malts. 502Flavors (220), Kentucky, USA Jun 15, 2008 12 oz bottle. It had a dark brown pour typical of a nut brown. The aroma was all roasted malt and nuts. The flavor was also dominated by roasted malt but also included hints of chocolate and, of course, nuts. It was medium to light bodied on my palate. Overall: I found this stuff to be highly drinkable and pretty delicious. Solid.
