Dec 19, 2008 Bottled. Pours dark orange with a dirty white head. Aroma is very malty with bread and floral notes. Alcohol is present in the aroma. Flavor is sweet orange and lemon. Has a lighter malt body not too syrupy.

Dec 13, 2008 Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber orange. Hop aromas pretty subdued. Sweet flavors. Come apricot, grapefruit. A decent beer.

Dec 10, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin white head. Big hop aroma, lots of pine and fragrant citrus, but seems to have mellowed a bit because it has a little age on it. Still, show a nice malty sweet caramel body. Has a nice chewy hop taste with pine and citrus and balance with lots of malt and caramel. A little of a barley wine feel to this, good beer overall.

Dec 9, 2008 22oz bottle. I’ve had this several times but I always forget to rate it. Amber pour with a light haze and light head. The aroma is pine with sweet malt that is a touch cloying. Flavor is also immediately forward with pine, but then lightens up to reveal some orange-pineapple-tangerine presence. Sticky candy like malt and caramel. A bit much but good. Smooth and creamy mouth feel.

Nov 30, 2008 22 oz bottle. Pours amber, with a red tint, no head. I bought this beer thinking it was going to be an imperial IPA. Sorry, not even close. Very sweet, almost to much with little to no notice of hops. The aroma was very sweet and full of caramel malts....almost reminded me of a strong ale. The alcohol was somewhat detectable, but overall I was very dissapointed in this IIPA. I expect hops dammit!

Nov 18, 2008 22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, fruit, citrus, light caramel malts, and some peach and melon. Poured orange/amber in color with a large, dense, rocky, beige head that lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, caramel, malts, fruit, nectar, slight resin, and some pine. Medium body. Lightly sticky, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, hoppy, caramel finish is lightly dry. This is 100 IBUs? BS! Quite sweet.

Nov 15, 2008 bottle thanks to acrdz. deep ruby pour with a thin cream head. fresh piney hops and some citrus on the nose. nice thickness with a smooth hop flavor that is overpowered by the malts. malty finish with some caramel and fruits.

Nov 1, 2008 Pours a sweet apricot color from the bomber with a trim white head. Loaded with sweet malts, citrus, and mild hops that effectively masque the alcohol content. Not bad at all for an IPA.
