Med body and lightly carbed. Taste is hop centric floral and piney with a mild caramel sweetness. Well cloaked 10%abv. 101506 kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Pours a clear copper with a large head that has little staying power. Nose is all about the grainy malts and floral hops. It tastes like it smells. Starts with some sweetness, then some biscuits, toffee, and floral hops. Medium body, medium carbonation....QUite clean, and frankly quite boring.....a clean and sterile malt liquor? hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Poured a hazy amber color with a thin, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet pine, resin, licorice, caramel malts and citrus fruits.Taste of citrus fruits, caramel malts, a touch of toffee, but light bitterness... finishing with a light alcohol burn. Not impressed by this IIPA. arondee (181), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Very little head. Very light carbonation, I was a little worried the beer might have been bad....but it wasn’t. Great taste, not as bitter as I expected. Does not taste like 10%. I’d drink this again, it’s actually light compared to most of the good IPAs. jstraw (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Poured clear brown color with a moderate off-white frothy head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hoppy and malty aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer. maniac4016 (114), bill clinton, Iceland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2008 faint hops on nosing(imp ipa??) malt actually more dominant on nose, pours amber/copper with head that quickly disipates. this is the lightest 95 ibu beer i tasted, had 60 ibu beers who’shops were more dominating, good beer but not really typical of the style Taverner (883), San Ramon, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Don’t know why this got such a low rating. This is a great IIPA - first taste is a nice woody piney flavor, followed by a malt backbone that is sweet, but not overkill. It hides the 10% well.
