| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Good head at pour. Dark orange color. I think the color is too dark but still nice. Aroma is very subtle, not strong. Nice aroma but not my favorite. Aroma gets a little stronger as it is allowed to breath. Taste is too sweet. You can taste the alcohol which is a turnoff. Smooth palate, doesn’t linger like other IPAs I have tasted. Overall, I don’t care for this beer because of its sweetness. It does pack a punch I will give it that! If you like sweet IPAs, then you might like this beer. Not recommended for traditional hop heads. blutt59 (2147), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 27, 2009 22 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent polished copper with a tint of ruby color, very low carbonation, one finger off white head formed and laced very well. Aroma of citrus, resin, and pine (hops), very sweet malt, and evil. Hits the mouth with low-high body- uncharacteristically high, but very good none the less, malt is extremely sweet, but the hops come rushing in, destroy your rating notes, shove a funnel down your 125 lb. throat, and make you DRINK. MIddle becomes stronger with hops and alcohol burn, finish lingers much like someone with a pair of nuts never quits. This whole country could use some decedance- the dark and dirty side. I agree with that last statement. Swalden28 (1512), McKinney, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a very nice looking deep clear amber with nice beige head. Aroma is very nice, a little piney with some caramel...Hops are nice and spicey. Flavor is very good, semi sweet malt, caramel, pine, nice piney bitter, overall, seems very balanced. Mouth feel is medium-heavy body with med-high carbonation. Over all, this is a very tasty IPA, very much enjoyed it! Very impressed with SKA on this one! A very tasty, easy to drink "if you can take big beers", very satisfying. I was very happy with this brew. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA
