May 20, 2007 Hazy orange amber, almond coloured rocky head with excellent retention. Fresh resinous piney hop aroma, undertones of fruit and malt. sweet malt with generous hop character, moderately heavy mouthfeel, more fruit hoppiness than pine, lending a softer mouthfeel, a little earthy/salty as well. Delicious. Shared with Tyler Durden (thanks buddy!).

May 11, 2007 Pours rich amber with copper highlights. Sweet/sour hops on the nose. Slightly musty. Hints of spice (clove?). Thin with subdued hops on the palate. Unimpressive.

Apr 16, 2007 The aroma of this beer is amazing. Apple, citrus, and berry notes are all there. These hide a suprising mellow bitterness that is only slightly above average.

Apr 7, 2007 sampled on tap at the 5th Boulder Strong Ale Fest. pours copper w/ no head. stale cereal in the nose with no hops. flavor is weak cereal, some bitterness, and biscuit. this is a joke of a iipa cuz there really isn’t much of a hop profile here.

Mar 26, 2007 I guess I was expecting a bit more with the wax on the bottle. A nice fizzy feel and the alcohol is not a particularly strong taste. Flavor was ok, but just not anything special.

Mar 23, 2007 Foggy amber w no head. Aroma is very floral with alcohol, caramel, and hops. Taste is a caramel sweetness, with hops and light alcohol warming.
