Commercial Description:
Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

Pretty good. Not the greatest DIPA, but certainly drinkable. Pretty hot, but shit, we’re talking 10% here, so I expect it. If this were a local, I’d drink it often if the price were reasonable. Awesome label.

Pours deep amber with a decent head. This tasted more barleywine-like than IIPA. Big malt and mellowing hops. Sharp alcohol on the finish.

22 oz bottle. Typical amber color, with a nice head. Aroma is strong hops. Flavor it hoppy as all get out, but a little harsh. Balance seems a little bit off. Not bad by any means, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium craemy tan head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, but rather faint. Flavor is astringent hops, lots of pineapple, grapefruit, and quite sweet. I think the biggest problem is that it’s too ordinary for the style.

Not a bad DIPA, but not a great one either. Has a slight alcoholic taste and a decent bittering to the beer, but there is not that much to it besides the bittering and alcohol.

Light copper colour with a small white head that has good legs. Typical IPA hoppy aroma, with citrusy smell. Taste of grapefruit and hops with a slight bitter finish.

Bottle. Deep copper body with a thick ring of bubbles. Nose-big and sweet with no discernable hops. Taste-thick, sticky, honey, medium bitter, cereal, medium-high CO2, piney, medium sweetness, bark, medicinal as it warms. Medium-high PNW hops. Medicinal finish. Slightly husky and oaky.
