| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2006 (22oz. bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate beige head. Aroma of garpefruit, pine, and caramel. Big hoppy flavor with some toffee; bitter finish. Would like to have had more maltiness to balance out more. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2006 22-oz bottle. Pours a clean copper with a thin frothy head and lined lacing. Aroma is banana, pineapple, yeast (dough), hops (pine, citrus), malt (meal) and trace alcohol. Heavily bitter and acidic, bubblegum flavors, hoppy citrus rind, perfumey citrus hops, finish is biiter hops, fades. Warm and medium bodied, fizzy and dry palate. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 3, 2006 Clear gold, medium off white head that lingers well. Pretty inviting looking, actually. Hoppy floral notes with some citrus, llight toffee, and alcohol in the aroma. Medium/light body and light carbonation, lacking the mouthfeel I’m looking for. Flavor is hops dominant, backed up by light malt character that just doesn’t balance the hops well. Bitter lemon and grapefruit transitions to a bitter finish that leaves a dry astringency on the tongue that lingers for a while. Certainly not bad or objectionable, but lacks depth and compexity. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 1, 2006 Clear dark amber body. Tart green apple and cherry-caramel in the aroma. Dry caramel and leafy hop flavor, some citrus and apple in the finish. Not interesting. Dickinsonbeer (3494), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is metallic citrus, cascade hops, light stale malts and smells faded and old. Flavor is lightly sweet, more metallic notes, stale, light oxidation, lemony in the end, and a very dry brettyness in the end. Meh. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Thanks to 1FastSTI. Pours a clear orange/bright copper color. Small white soapy head. Aroma is floral, lavender, and perfume. Flavor is full of boozy orange juice. A little bit of lemon, pine needles. sweet and not overly hoppy. LePoopie (151), Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Thanks Blake for the sample! Has an OK hoppy, piney aroma. Hazy orange body, with a thin white head. Flavor is rather blah, slightly bitter, but there’s nothing really flavorful that makes it stand out. Decent body and carbonation. Overall, it’s drinkable, but not too enjoyable. 1FastSTi (2569), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Bottle I picked up at Sam’s. The beer pours to an orange copper penny body with an iced tea like head. The aroma is caramel and oranges, lots of floral hops, but they’re subdued by the malt. The flavor is orange and floral iced tea. The palate is moderately bodied but pretty basic. This is weaker in flavor than the IIPA homebrew we made.
