| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2006 Pours a clear light amber with a thin fizzy short lived head. Aroma is metallic citrus, cascade hops, light stale malts and smells faded and old. Flavor is lightly sweet, more metallic notes, stale, light oxidation, lemony in the end, and a very dry brettyness in the end. Meh. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Thanks to 1FastSTI. Pours a clear orange/bright copper color. Small white soapy head. Aroma is floral, lavender, and perfume. Flavor is full of boozy orange juice. A little bit of lemon, pine needles. sweet and not overly hoppy. LePoopie (151), Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Thanks Blake for the sample! Has an OK hoppy, piney aroma. Hazy orange body, with a thin white head. Flavor is rather blah, slightly bitter, but there’s nothing really flavorful that makes it stand out. Decent body and carbonation. Overall, it’s drinkable, but not too enjoyable. 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Bottle I picked up at Sam’s. The beer pours to an orange copper penny body with an iced tea like head. The aroma is caramel and oranges, lots of floral hops, but they’re subdued by the malt. The flavor is orange and floral iced tea. The palate is moderately bodied but pretty basic. This is weaker in flavor than the IIPA homebrew we made. MIBRomeo (1966), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 23, 2006 ok stupid rate beer lost my fricking rating..
Pour is orange w/ a nice off white head nd some lace. Scent is fairly big hints of pine lots of spice touches of dry air. Palate is pretty even fairly avg dry. Flavor is very dry 1 dimensional just pine and blah an off finish I didn’t like. The worst IIPA i’ve had. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Pours a murky copper/orange with a white head that is slow to form due to some noticable thickness in body. Big pine in the aroma with a touch of sour milk, floral baby powder and fruity candy notes like a handful of Starburst fruit chews. Caramel sweetness hits me over the head as I sip, overpowering the fruity and piney hops that should be the focus. (I thought letting this mellow for a few months would take off any edges but perhaps I didn’t let it sit long enough.) Syrupy body; light burn, tongue & gullet. The finish lingers on as bitter tea with lemon with a sensation that my mouth is coated with sugar. I enjoyed this more than most of the other Ska brews but as far as DIPAs it was middle of the road.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2006 22oz bottle via trade with Dough77 - Thanks Tim - Pours amber slightly cloudy with a short offwhite head that faded fairly quick. Aroma is strong floral hops over some caramel malts. Also some grapefruit there but it is mild for an IIPA. Flavor is floral, like eating a dandelion to me. There is some caramel malt presence behind it but the floral notes are tough to fight through. A small amount of citrus makes this bearable but this is not a real great IIPA. ratman197 (3270), Arvada, Colorado, USA
