Made year round, this beer is possible one of the best beers to come out of colorado. It’s 10 percent alc/vol is just perfect. A must for any true IPA or double IPA lover. AmazonMatt (285), Panama

Clean citrus and pine hops. A touch of sweet rather than puckering dry. It is extremely clear orange copper in the pour with an eggshell head. The 10% alc. was completely hidden, which seems to me another testament to how great this beer is. Last beer of 2008 for me, and perhaps one of the best. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA

Aroma of citrus, resin, and pine (hops), very sweet malt, and evil. Hits the mouth with low-high body- uncharacteristically high, but very good none the less, malt is extremely sweet, but the hops come rushing in, destroy your rating notes, shove a funnel down your 125 lb. throat, and make you DRINK. MIddle becomes stronger with hops and alcohol burn, finish lingers much like someone with a pair of nuts never quits. This whole country could use some decedance- the dark and dirty side. I agree with that last statement. asmithbeer (42), USA

Pines, herbs, spices and flowers in the aroma. Flavour is very herbal and full of pineneedles. Is balanced by a ligth fruitsweetness. Medium bodied. Very bitter and citric in the end. Refreshing and very drinkable. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Beautiful amber color, with a big creamy head. Sweet and fruity aroma (mango? apricot?) Then some herbal hop comes out. Good body structure, with sweet toffee flavor, and a fruity bitterness, but not extreme. Very good.
