Indulgence (70), Ajo, Arizona, USA Aug 9, 2008 I love ESBs, but this one kind of falls short a little. Aroma is asparin bitter hops, some barnyard and light, sweet malts. Flavor is the same but has a slight asparin bitterness at the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit watery. I like SKA stuff, and am a little let down. SuperDave70 (723), Arizona, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pours a clear amber with a medium foamy head that lasts a while. Sweet malt and grain aroma and flavor. Just enough hops to make the brew crisp, but not add any noticable hoppiness to the flavor. Drinkable, but not spectacular by any means. satan165 (105), River Grove, Illinois, USA Jul 18, 2008 very very thin, and far from ’special’. this is not challenging or interesting, has the odor of regular old keg beer and taste is similar as well. there are other mainstream available english style ales that are far superior. furthermore the can seems to have imparted the dreaded metallic flavor. kudos to ska for canning, i read about this months ago and finally got my hands on some, but i must say it was disappointing and barely above average experience. ucusty (1016), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 15, 2008 Clear amber pour. Fluffy head and moderate lace. Sweet malts on the nose. Malty with some hops. Wonder how fresh this was? darn1207 (244), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2008 12oz can. clear orange pour with a small white head and some nice fluffy lacing. malty aroma with a bit of flowers. sweet yeasty malt flavor with light caramel and citrus. thin palate. soapy bitter finish.
