Nose is fresh and crisp with a fair malt sweetness pretty much standard for a lager, start is mildly sweet, grain presence adequate, top is light in its feel to the palate. Finish has the customary lager acidity with the hops understated, dry and thirst quenching on this 110 degree day in Arizona, can’t complain about that. Bockyhorsey (2551), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Flavor had that little lemon twang to off set the normal swill aluminum taste. Refreshing none the less. Give it up to SKA do have some quality marketing people to design their labels. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. A simple brew, clean and refreshing with a nice maltiness without the skunk. Slight bitterng on the finish. I liked it better than Corona. No need for the lime. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Bottle poured straw yellow with a decent head and lacing.
Aroma is sweet corn and straw.
Flavor is light, sweet, corn with a light body.
Seems to be a good refreshing beer for the hot summer days that are coming.
Not bad. FlacoAlto (2473), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 8, 2006 Updated: May 22, 2006Pours with the palest straw gold color I have seen outside of a macro. The head is frothy, large bubbled and initially about 1 finger thick. The heads color is white, not off white or cream, but actually white. The aroma is a mix of spicy hop notes, sweet grain notes (perhaps even a corn like thing going on, the label makes one think this this is an all malt brew though), and that thin sort of finish I associate with a macro brew.
The taste is light up front, initially dry, but quickly picks up a sweet grain note that carries through to the finish. The finish has that sort of adjunct grain thinness to it that makes me think they must have added something other than malt to this. Very light and refreshing, the hops add a nice spiciness to this beer that almost offsets the adjunct notes. I get hints of lemon zest, and an herbal sort of grassy note. They really hit the parameters for this style; darn clean, to non-existent yeast profile and it even gets the macro brew taste down. Having said that, there are a million other beers that I would rather be drinking, but that is because I am not a fan of the style.

They make it very evident that Saaz hops are used exclusively in this brew. The nose is fairly subtle. The malt is grainy, cereal like, while the hops are herbal. There is also hints of tropical fruits as well.
Grainy, light and fruity in its flavor. Notes of pineapples, banana, cereal and bread. Big for its size. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2004 Clear and light yellow with a thin white head. Light and creamy carbonation; very drinkable and not as watery as I expected. Malts were pleasant: bready, grainy, cereal-like and lightly sweet. Saaz hops contributed nicely, adding a balancing bitterness and some enjoyable aromas. Clean and decent beer. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

I took this with me camping and trout fishing near Colorado Springs in the summer of 2002, and it fit really well with the atmosphere as a nice pre-dinner, sitting-on-the-river beer. Wonderful experience. Light yellow color, moderate bite of hops, and semi-sharp grains.
