The expected citrus and pine on the nose, a little spice. Mostly hops on the tongue with a lasting bitterness. Could go for a little more malt either at the beginning or middle. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nicely done. I’ll take this next time i’m up in the mountains. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Nice looking pour. Nice orange color with great carbonation and a foamy off white head. Nose is strong piney hops with a nice, light, sweet citrus in the background. Boom, the flavor is huge piney hops and not much else to balance it. A little malt tries to come through mid palate but really doesn’t show. The complexities of the nose don’t all come out in the flavor. Of course if you are all about hops this is your kind of beer. theisti (1671), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2009 12 oz can purchased at Beertopia in Omaha, Nebraska. Pour is mostly clear golden orange with a tight one inch off white head. Falls with thick sticky lacing. Aroma of fresh pine hops, lighter resin grapefruit citrus, earthy toasty malt behind that. Fresh and nice. Taste is big pine, catty, resin grapefruit layered on top of thinnish toasty malt. Taste follows the nose nicely, though is not quite as put together. Palate is thin, a bit watery and mostly the hops. Finish is bitter, resin and mineral. Nice, though really gave the sensation of hop water. teamrassas (26), USA

Nose is citrus and pine, but not really that strong. Flavor is much more pronounced than that of the nose. Nice citrus hop with decent malt to back it up, finish is bitter with a good bit of carbinatino. mar (1862), Dallas, Texas, USA
