Pours a lightly hazy copper color - soapy, clinging lace - herbal, peppery hops in the nose, with some bright fruitiness and moderate caramel malt base - the flavor has an initial spicy hop kick, followed by medium sweet caramel - this is followed by a very bright, vibrant fruity character, grapefruit tang, a second blast of hops - fairly earthy - pretty tasty.

Clear amber with a fleeting head. Piney hoppy aromas. Medium body. Floral and pine hop twang flavors on a sweet caramel malty base. Nice.

Sampled at Flying Saucer’s Second Annual Fall Beer Festival in Austin on October 24, 2009. Clear amber orange, light flavor and mouthfeel. Goodly IPA, and thin in the mouth. Easy drinking, loads of fun, good to get drunk on! I’m sober, honest.

12oz Can, Pours darkish gold, big resin hop aroma, Columbus, Amarillo hop profile, a bit skunky in a good way, garlic notes as well. Hops up front in the flavor with a decent malt backbone to support the hops. Nice job! I’ve had this in the bottle before and cans seem much brighter and fresher. $9.99/6pk at Hops & Vines, Asheville, NC.

12 oz. can from Sam’s Quik Shop in Durham. Dark orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of pine, tangerines, and pineapple. Bitter hop flavor of grapefruit rind, pine, and fresh cut grass. Clean but bitter aftertaste. This is actually quite good and a very pleasant surprise. An excellent IPA.

Tap at Falling Rock. Dark amber. Almost copper coloured. Light foamy head. Light hop scent. Lighter than expected. Hops are intriguing but there is fruit and vegetable flavour with a bit of green grain.
