Bottle. Pours a copper amber with a medium creamy off white head that lasts awhile leaving behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong pine hops with caramel and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a piney hop taste with grapefruit and a nice bitter finish. A very good IPA from SKA.

drank right before Dynamo-DcUnited kickoff, 7:30pm ... .. Pours a medium copper .. . medium-large head, lacing is fab .. . lots of apple, pine, dirty molasses, and squirrel hop turds in the aroma .. . very easy stuff to drink, lots of cascade makes this dreamy! .. . this might get me in trouble tonight if Houston doesn’t play well... can’t wait for the cans to show up, this is the best SKA regular indefinitely! .. . waiter, there’s a fly in my flannel...

Bottle at the Raleigh Times. Bartender told me that this was a fairly tame IPA so I was surprised when the nose on this thing was extremely rich with citrus hops and floral notes. Taste was perfectly balanced for my style of IPA drinking. Hops were very strong, yet not in an overly aggressive way. Drank strong and finished strong too. Classy brew.

Piny, floral hop aroma. A little citrus and musk but not to over powering. Dark, clear, golden orange, beautifully carbonated, thin head with persistent bubbles. There is a very sharp hop flavor up front, but then it mellows in to a smooth bitterness. It’s rather refreshing. I get a lot of citrus, it has a nice dry finish. Very lovely, drinkable beer.

On tap @ Falling Rock. Clear orange with a one finger creamy yellow white head, eventually fading to a thick film. Fruity citrus and green hops up front with some light dankness, and light cotton candy caramel malts behind. Flavor is more dank but still has the citrus, and the malts turn slightly earthy. Distantly reminds me of Blind Pig. . . distantly. Dry finish with bitterness @ a 6. Light carbonation with a medium body. Holy crap, I found a Ska beer that isn’t only drinkable, but good! I know they sell it in cans, whi is also pretty cool--dunno if they date said cans, so I can’t give it a bonus point yet.

12 oz can Pours a nice amber with a large off white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, hops. Flavor is citrusy hops, grapefruit, caramel malts. Nice to have another good canned IPA out there. Not as good as Furious Cans, but nice for price.

(Bottle at Front Range BBQ in Colorado Springs) Pours a clear, copper color. Small, white head that quickly diminishes. Floral hop aroma. Light floral hop and grainy malt flavor. Slick texture, soft carbonation, average duration. Light, bitter finish. I had this beer on tap on another occasion and the hop aroma and flavor was much more prevalent than from the bottle.
