May 16, 2009 Easily the best canned beer I have ever had. A really good west coast IPA. Aroma of grassy and citrus hops. Color is a nice golden color with a good white head. Flavor was rich and had huge hop flavor. Great job at balance. If you can find this beer buy it. Fantastic. My new personal favorite.

Mar 13, 2009 Great dry hopped nose. Delicious citrus piney flavor. Favorite full time release from the durango boys (except maybe Decadent). Won a private blind tasting over 8 of the best IPA’s available in CO market in a room full of beer geeks. Heads up Dale.Well done!!!

Oct 13, 2009 Super hoppy somewhat fruity aroma. Flavor is hoppy nice and a great finish. Solid IPA all the way around.

Nov 21, 2009 12oz can poured into a shaker. SKA MH IPA pours a wonderful bronze with a stark white head that is huge for an IPA. The nose is Heaven with huge notes of hops resin, almost like marijuana. The aroma actually clears the head and intimates well water. The body is strong hops and well water. It isn’t too bitter and not too weak. This is a world-class IPA. The finish is grassy and full of bitter happiness. I’m extremely happy with this beer.

Aug 9, 2009 This is the kind of IPA I am looking for. Beer pours lightly cloudy dark honey color with a totally retained off white head that produces copious lacing. Aroma is very appealing with lots of juicy, crushed hops, grapefruit and more grapefruit. Flavor follows the aroma with big juicy grapefruit flavors. The grapefruit is omni-present as it should be, but there is a malt prescence lurking in the background provide a hint of balance. This is IMO delicous!

May 21, 2009 12 oz can into a nonic.
Appearance is slightly hazy amber/copper. Pours with 2+ fingers of creamy off white head, which fades slowly to a thin cap; excellent retention. Tons of sticky lacing.
Smells of pine/grapefruit hoppiness. Slight malty notes hide behind the onslaught of hops.
Tastes of grapefruit and pine resin hops, combining for a superbly bitter finish. Fairly solid, sweet caramel malt provides good balance. Alcohol is well blended.
Moderate carbonation with a medium feel. Slightly slick and coating oiliness.
Rock solid. Looks, smells, and taste are all excellent....goes down easy. This is good stuff, and I certainly wish I had another in front of me.
