Clean syrup colored pour with small tan head. NIce smell of hops and coffee. Smoked coffee, hops and some chocolate. Nice finish, not too dry. I enjoyed this beer very much. It was easy to drink, not too heavy.

Pours black and thick. Light brown head. Nose is sweet and chocolatey. Oily, with lactose and burnt coffee flavor. Syrupy. Gets bigger as it warms.

Dark pour with small light brown head. Aromas of chocolate malts dominate. Coffee chocolate with slight sweetness to balance the bitter throughout the beer. Alcohol well masked by the sweetness. A bit on the thin side, but quite nice.

Pour is a complete black with a small tan head. Aroma on this one is all things chocolate and coffee. Flavor is much of the same, dark chocolate with coffee and some alcohol showing up in the end. The best brew by far from this brewer.

thanks to hopdog for unleashing this much anticipated bottle... Appears a dark brown with a 3 finger tan head. Lots of chunky lacing is left all around the glass. The smell is of heavy dosages of lactic chocolate, fruit, and a touch of coffee. Taste is of smooth lacto sugared chocolate, light caramel, and some fruit and coffee. Mouthfeel is overcarbonated, sweet and lactic.
