Strykzone (1458), Wood River, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2009 Clear copper color with a small tan head. Little retention. Nice aroma begins with malt followed by a quick hit of rye and then pine hops. Flavor is caramel, syrupy rye, tart citrus hops. Peppery spice comes late. The malt is dominant. Since I like a maltier beer this one gets rated just a tad above average.
