Commercial Description:
Maybe you're not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren't in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

Bottle: Light Amber color with minimal head. Sugar cane, cake, and decent hops in the nose, all ends up very sweet. First hits the mouth surprisingly dry. Then melts into an enjoyable malty sweetness. The hoppy citrus follows, and contunues to compete with the dark, carmel malts the rest of the way. Decent body. The finish alternates between the hops and malts, rather than blending the two, which I found stange and somewhat interesting...

Pours clear orange//copper in color with white medium body head that lasts and laces the glass. Mild malt and hops aroma. Flavor is not descript, muted malts and hops, but not at all offensive making it a drinkable ale, whether or not it’s a red.

Bottle from cbkschubert, Thanks Craig! Bottle dated Aug 05, friuty caramel malt nose; amber with a samll beige head; tart caramel flavor with some banana esters in a medium body, along with a tart fruity finish. Unusual tartness for an amber, or was it turning!

12 oz bottle. Date code notched on the label shows 1st week of May, but doesn’t state year.

Hazy amber, lively carbonation, thin tan short lived head. Decent lacing.

Aroma is light caramel.

Flavor is light caramel, light citrus.

Body is thin and watery.

Finish is short, and lightly bitter, lightly sweet.

When you’re in the mood for something average, this is it.

12 oz bottle from Arctic Liquors Beer of the Month Club. This one is MUCH better than the other selection from this month. Clear Copper/Amber color. Small head, disspipates quickly leaving an average amount of lace. Mild citrus aroma with a bit of caramel malt smell. Taste is very mild, well balanced, but unexciting. Light/medium body. Aftertaste is a mild lingering hoppiness with a hint of fruit. I think this would make a great session beer as it would be easy to knock several of these back. Refreshing. At $7.99 a six pack, not a bad session beer at all (if only i didn’t have to pay $10 a 6 for shipping, this would be a staple in the fridge!)
