Commercial Description:
Maybe you're not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren't in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

Plain red ale. Poured light red with no head or lacing. Not much taste!

On tap: Nice creamy beige head, but that’s the highlight of this uninspured ale. Thin with light, sweet malts and a slight taste of cherries, it fizzles out completely on a watery note.

Coppery pour, no head. Bland. A little malt, maybe some hops, but who really cares if it doesnt reach out and grab you?

Not much going on here...very little nose of any kind. Light, bland, thin flavors...some lightly roasted malt...virtually no detectable hop bitterness. This is really a pointless waste of calories for me. Love the label art, though.

Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. A great amber ale, in my opinion. Deep reddish-brown clear pour with a thin white head, maltiness in the nose and balanced with some apple, pear, and hops. I thought this was the best one of the night from this brewer.

Clear amber to bronze in color. Moderate dark taupe head. Decent lace. I think I have figured out that grapefruit and husky grain to not mix, smells more like corn silage. Fruity pale ale qualities in the flavor profile. Gooseberries, with mild pale malt and syrupy caramel come to mind. It’s odd that they state "not in the mood for a raspberry flavored", yet this is quite sweet with some berry qualities.

Pour is a amber red with a nice hazyness. Aroma is very nice. Lots of malts and the hops really stand out. Flavor is slight citrus and some malts used. Overall kinda tasty and prob one of the best from this brewer.

for some reason, yeaup, it tastes like a red ale--i guess. i like this more than killians, i guess that’s for sure... but what is this? it’s caramel, and a bit nutty, with a dead hop berry burst. if this had a primarily medicinal quality, i would have mistaken this for a bad fruit beer.
