| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 26, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Nose: 1/8 hops, 1/8 sweet malt, 3/4 poop. Tastes like a vomitous ginger-bread cookie wrapped in a lint trap sheet. Sparky27 (1608), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold with a dense white head and decent lacing. The nose is light citrus hops and malt. Taste is similar with some fruitiness in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Interesting beer. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 2, 2009 This is just another average red ale, maybe on the bottom side. A little thin, quite malty with a poor finish. Definitely a hard beer to have after some of the others I’ve had tonight. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bottle courtesy of aplusbreaks. Pours mahogany with a white head. Smells of citrus, roses, earthy. Tastes of caramel, citrus, tarte and spicy. Decent. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Poured to a hazy, well carbonated orange-red color, with pillowy off white head that lingered thru the entire glass and left excellent lacing. Unfortunately, this was the high point of this beer. Nose was muted, but what was there appeared to be a fruity, green apple scent. Mouthfeel was tingly, yet cottony dry, which made it difficult to ascertain much of a flavor. Finish was likewise very clinging and dry.
Nice label though!! patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2008 draft - Pours amber with a lingering one finger white head and a caramel malt aroma. It has the expected caramel malt flavor and a mild hops bite. Smooth and very sessionable, this light bodied brew finishes slightly dry. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2008 Pint at 1702 with FlacoAlto. Toasted bread aromas off this clear red pour with decent white head. Flavor were a bit more hoppy than the aromas, with a touch of some sort of spice in the finish. Really not that bad. ajm (950), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Tap at Sheraton Hotel Bar, Telluride, CO. What a waste of time. Poised somewhere between a true red and an amber, this beer has no discernable aroma and very little flavor outside of generic malt. No sweetness, no fruit, no milk, no red.
