Commercial Description:
Maybe you're not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren't in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

Had this beer on 2/11/2003. Aroma is a slightly sour malt scent. Color is a rich gold with easy carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and hoppy. Starting with a light/medium body that goes down with a sleek feel and a hop flavor coming on. Finish starts with a bitterness followed by a malty sweetness and backed by a mild hop flavor. Only down fall is the bitterness grows a bit strong the more you drink.

Pours a clear caramel with little head retention. The nose is a pleasant mix of citrusy hops and sweet malts. A nice balance that continues in the body. The body does thin out a bit, but the sweetness of the malt carries through into a slightly bitter finish. Nothing spectacular, but well made for the style. I could drink this in quantity.

Red Ale...Huh! Golden orange in color with a stiff golden head. Hoppy aroma and crisp body. Low on the malty side with a little more on the hoppy side. Not too bad overall.

Pours clear amber with little head, but a lot of lacing as it drops. Nose is extremely sweet. Taste is what seems like a prolonged nutty texture. A little odd really. But when I drink it I just think about heavy nuts. Mouthfeel is pretty standard and the drinkability is pretty high. Overall a decent brew. Nothing overly fantastic, but worth trying I would say.

I had this beer at the Saloon in Durango, CO, where they shot the movie National Lampoons ’Vacation’ with Chevy Chase. The scene where he and Christie Brinkley are sitting in a bar before jumping in the pool together was shot at this exact saloon. The beer was very delicious and I drank several glasses to fully enjoy the beer. Enjoy it if you can find it at a store or bar near you.

pours a copper orange with a one finger off white fluffy head. aroma is a light caramel malt, hops, and grass. has a light to medium body with ok lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma. has a small dry hop aftertaste and is a bit thin. an average to below average red ale. as it warms there is a faint fruit aroma and flavor also.

Fruity-cherry, malt aroma. Amber with thin head...watery. Sweet malt, mild hops, and dry fruit notes. Fairly smooth with malty dry-finish.
