Commercial Description:
Maybe you're not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren't in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

(12oz bottle, bottled August 2005) Crystal clear amber body with small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, berry, orange. Taste is moderately sweet, berry, melon, caramel. Watery light-medium body. A bit too sweet for my liking.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with a huge sized off white head. Aromas of lemons, light caramel, orange peels, and I was getting a peppery spiciness. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and the same peppery spiciness. Thinner and lively body.

(Bottle, courtesy of Kevin) Pours a clear copper body with a small white head. Aroma of mild hops and caramel. Flavor of malt, caramel, mild hops, a hint of fruitiness, and a bit flat.

Red copper hue. Smells of pale, stale chalk. Taste is somewhat bland and sour, with some mild hop bitterness, but a paint/cardboard feeling ruins a nice looking brew.

On tap: Nice creamy beige head, but that’s the highlight of this uninspured ale. Thin with light, sweet malts and a slight taste of cherries, it fizzles out completely on a watery note.

Clear amber to bronze in color. Moderate dark taupe head. Decent lace. I think I have figured out that grapefruit and husky grain to not mix, smells more like corn silage. Fruity pale ale qualities in the flavor profile. Gooseberries, with mild pale malt and syrupy caramel come to mind. It’s odd that they state "not in the mood for a raspberry flavored", yet this is quite sweet with some berry qualities.
