Mid-sized white head that hangs around for a little while. Not a lot on the nose. A little sweet malt, grain. Nothing wrong but not a lot there. The malt comes through better in the flavor. Definite hints of dough and finishes a touch sweet with just a little hop bitterness. I could drink this on the golf course, no problem. Had to come back a little later. This actually got better as time went on and I am giving it a few more points. untamedbeer (1), , South Carolina, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Aroma has a slightly metallic twinge. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Light amber color with a tallish, beige, head that’s rather lasting. Very grainy in aroma. Plenty of creamed corn and a touch of caramel and some floral hops in the background. Fairly thin in feel, but not overly carbonated. Some light caramel in the front. Middle is light fruity with some peach and pralines. Some generic bitterness and acidity that does not add much in either flavor or quality. Seems a bit raw. Wow, SKA should be called POOP, cuz after 4 of their brews, that’s what they all smell like. Flavor is somewhat sweet malt which is kinda nice in the way that like a ugly chick giving you a beej is kinda nice. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Canned. Very slightly hazy amber in color with a large, frothy off-white head. Head was rather long-lasting and left nice lacing. Light pine aroma with cookie malts, but overall pretty bland. Caramel malt flavor up front with some light pine bitterness. Rather cardboardy finish with a little bit of medicinal hops. Watery mouthfeel. For as "blah" as this was, it is actually one of the best canned beers I’ve ever had. I wish more microbreweries would/could can. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA

Aroma of sweet corn and faint butter. Flavor has some diacytel, but in a good way. Sweet maltiness, grass. Twinge of hop bitterness on the finish. Nice, I rather enjoyed this.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2008 Canned. Deep, bright bronze colored body with a light khaki head. The aroma has bread and some light toffee. There is also some tea and apple sauce. The taste is nasty stewed black tea and some almonds. There was also a little bit of bread crust. This is not pleasant to taste. Bitter, nasty finish.
