Pours a dark brown with a bubbly quickly diminishing tan head. Smelled like milky, hot chocolate. Creamy palate with a malty chocolate taste. Nice smooth chocolate finish. This beer is grossly underrated. swanmann (310), Norman, Oklahoma, USA

I poured a bottle into a pint glass. *Slurp, slurp* Wiggley piggies. Syrupy milk stout with low, however crisp carbo. My bottle indicates October ’04. Thick enough to completely elude transparency, coffee thick with milk and honey. Might need a couple years. Cavie (1509), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Dark brown color. Roasted coffee and tobacco on the nose. Some bits of chocolate. Smooth taste. Nice dark chocolate and milk chocolate taste. Finish is lingering sweet chocolate that eases off. Probably the best SKA brew I’ve had yet. Swalden28 (1531), McKinney, Texas, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2005 The beer belches forth from the 22-ounce brown bottle a soot black with a moderate sized semi-creamy light chocolate head that erodes rather quickly leaving a thick and glutinous sheet of lace to circumnavigate the glass. Nose has a rich milk chocolate and nice roasted grain aroma, sweet and fresh, start is somewhat sweet with a delectable malt presence and the top moderate to full in its feel to the palate. Finish has a determined acidity and the hops purposeful in their spiciness, the aftertaste continues the milk chocolate taste and is quite dry, a decent stout and worthy of a sample. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Poured a dark brown with a thin white head. Had strong hints of lactose, simple sugars, and roasted coffee. FInsihed with a slight sugary texture. ChainGangGuy (2616), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Appearance: Pours a deep, dark brown body with some reddish-hued edges and a creamy beige head.
Smell: Roasted grains and rich, sweetish chocolate, though by and large, its the roasted malts.
Taste: Fairly sweet milk chocolate flavor featuring some distinct Tootsie Roll notes and just the little amount of citrusy hops. Finishes sweet but with a persistent lactic acidity that builds up in the back of the mouth (like eating too many Milk Duds in one sitting).
Mouthfeel: Soft, medium-bodied beer with a mild carbonation.
Drinkability: Tootsie Rolls and Milk Duds together in an easy drinking beer - what’s not appealing about that?
