Rich dark fruits with strong hops and other spices in the nose, some slight smokiness. Rich flavors, nice citrus and tropical elements, with lots of caramel and a tinge of tart. I was waiting for someone to enter this. :) Pours a dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma is caramel, peat, bourbon, vanilla and barrel. The aroma is overflowing with notes of bourbon, nuts, tobacco, wood and caramel. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. Sweet, caramely, woodsy, boozy and lightly acidic flavor. Taste, good notes of wood barrel bourbon, and surprisingly sour for a scotch ale. In the mix there are light hints of fruits and sweet sugar.
