RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 24, 2009 Had on draught at Trinity Brewing. Color is a near solid amber with low carbonation and a thin but tight head. It comes on a smooth medium body that has a sweet feel. Finish is sweet with oak and red wine flavors then a faint fruit taste on the end. After taste is tart and fry with more oak then a big alcohol feel. Its an interesting strong brew, but doesn’t seem to have much peach showing. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 23, 2009 Draught at Trinity Brewing. Pours brown with an average, creamy, off-white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, straw, caramel), heavy hops (perfume, pine), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of heavy alcohol (brandy), peaches, wood, and brown sugar. Full bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
