Pours a hazy golden with a white head. I could definitely taste some honey. If I drank about 20 of these I would get hard up and try to sweet talk the lady on the bottle. Nice crisp brew. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Pours golden with not much aroma. Taste is light & is a little thin but fitting for the style. Good to drink in the heat or outside. hophead21112 (124), Louisville (LEWISville), Colorado, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 11, 2009 Slightly hazy pour with a small white head that has average retention and no lace. Aroma consists of banana runts, grain, a bit solventy which is strange in a 4.22%, due to the honey? This one falls flat on the tongue, an initial sweetness quickly fades to bland. Palate is medium light body, no alcohol detectable, moderately low carbonation. This brewery has potential but they are all over the place - their new IPA is great and this one is mediocre. blipp (1769), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2009 Bottle at Coles in Buffalo. I think this was a freebie from Mike (swoopjones), it kind of just appeared in front of me. If so, then thanks Mike! A light gold pour with a white head. Light malty aroma with a hint of some floral hops. The flavor is lighter but balanced with some bready/grainy malt and a dash of floral citric hops. Drinkable, not a bad session ale. llcooldave (339), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2009 General malty aroma. Dark straw in color and crystal clear. Good flavor... nice w/ bitter hoppy citrus aftertaste. Overall this is a decent brew. Nice for summer grilling. kidmartinek (1001), austin, Texas, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 20, 2009 a true hazy blond color witha weak white head and moderate carbonation. Strong aroma or ripe malt and mash. Flavor starts of bland and mashy and quickly becomes very malty and nutty. Tastes more like a red ale than a blond. Palate is lively and bites pretty hard. A heavy beer for what you get. This recipe would be better suited towards a lagering yeast. mar (1973), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is bread, malt, touch of hops. Flavor is cereal, bread, malts, light hops, touch of citrus. The can is substantially better than the bottle I had a while back. Decent Golden / Blond.
