Way better than bottle. All the same staples of the bottle, just ten times smoother. yemenmocha (421), Glendale, Arizona, USA

Pours brilliant golden with lacey white head. Nose has a light herbal hop quality, with cereal/grain and bready aromas. Palate is rather uninteresting with a light malt, more cereal flavors, and light hops to balance. Easy drinking, but only because it lacks much to savor. Cavie (1489), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Aroma is grassy, malty with a splash of hops, lightly fruity, with earthy undertones. Pretty well balanced. Appearance is a golden yellow. Almost looks like a big glass of sunshine. Disappearing white head, almost nonexistent carbonation. Pretty watery with a hopish finish. Tastes a bit sweet, probably the honey. Malty. Goes down alright. Overall, it’s okay. Haven’t been a big fan of Golden or Blonde Ales, and this one doesn’t make a good argument to become a fan. Average. RollinHard (761), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Pours gold with a small lasting white head. Aroma is very lager-esque, with notes of white bread, corn, and a slight trace of honey, since I know to look for it. Tastes crisp and easy with breadcrust, corn, and straw-like astringency. Finishes like buttered toast. Light bodied, high carbonation, easy to drink and not feel buzzed if you’re worried about that. Eh. I’d much rather have the Pinstripe Red. Aroma of light fruit, faint honey, malt. Flavor of light fruit/citrus, malt, faint honey, faint hop bitter in the back. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Pous slightly hazy golden with short lived white head. Smell is balanced malt and earthy, grassy hops. Taste is a bit grassy, malty but not syrupy or particularly sweet, and finishes fairly crisply and cleanly. Medium body and carbonation. Touch of hops and lemon on the finish. Perfectly drinkable. Either this is super fresh, which is possible as this just showed up on shelves this week, or it’s not as bad as the reviews say.
