Bottle from Sam’s Chicago. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium sweet citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met with a soft drinkable beer.

(Bottle) Pours a golden color with an average white head. Aroma of grain and very light malts. Taste includes sweet corn and crisp malts. Sweet aftertaste. I found nothing offensive in this beer, but it is not very memorable.

Pors a clear gold with minimal white head. Very light and sweet aroma. Flavor is much the same, with hints of honey and citrus. A good, but not great lighter beer.

Had this beer on 3/24/2004. Color is a pale gold with ok carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is a sour malt scent. Taste is light with a slightly dry malt taste. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp smoothly fizzy feel. The finish comes on with a mildly sweet malt flavor that pulls into a dry or almost earthy flavor and is backed by a firm bitterness. Overall I don’t like it, but I feel it falls into its category well.

Smells a little soapy, but looks quite good. Not too bad, but not real good. Light and a little fruity-orange. Not a good finish.

I had this at Kuma’s Corner in Chicago, and I thought it to be pretty good, especially for a style I usually associate with disappointment. This beer poured a slightly hazy golden color, with a towering pile of head. Aroma is very light, with some small amount of fruitiness. What I didn’t get was a lot of cereal-ness, which I usually associate with beers of this style (that’s a bad thing). Flavor was extremely light and pleasant. A bit of fruitiness and a touch of maltiness; pretty good. Mouthfeel was very light and clean.

Bottle. Pours with small fizzy diminishing white head. Clear body and yellow in color. Aroma average in maltiness with some straw, average hops of flowers, grass, and citrus and a hint of butter. Light in body with a thin texture, lively carbonation and a hint of a metallic finish. Flavor is average in duration, moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Refreshing. Some sweet mead-like flavors and hints of citrus.
